In the last few years, more and more researchers have made a great achievement of solving engineering and science problems by simulating the immune system. But comparing with the development of Neural Network, Fuzzy System and Evolutionary Computation, it's just a beginning because that many researches solve problems by using one or some characteristics of the immune system, but still, these researches improved the development of the immune project.The immune system can identify cells and classify them into self and non-self, the non-self cells are classified again to induce the right defense mechanism. The Artificial Immune System (AIS) based on the Immunology which is similar to the Neural Network is self-adaptive, but for better, it's on the basis of cooperation of multi-process; The Immune algorithm which is similar to the Genetic Algorithm can also evolve itself, but for better, it can control the variety and particularity of the colony accurately.This paper discusses the method of Data Mining based on Artificial Immune as well as the application, then presents a method of Web Mining based on Artificial Immune and improves the Immune Algorithm by using the Genetic Algorithm (GA).Based on previous research, the major research works in this paper are :1.Analyze the theory of Artificial Immune Algorithm, research the mechanism and the application probability of Immune algorithm.2. Introduce this algorithm into the fields of Data Mining.3. Try to build a novel model of web mining based on Artificial Immune Algorithm. 4. Optimize the immune algorithm and make it more efficient.5. Finally, this paper tries to make a expectation of the next step research of Artificial Immune Algorithm in the fields of Data Mining.
