The Research And Application Of Topic-specific Search Engine

Search technology progress made human sharing unprecedented access on data, information and knowledge, Search is a virtual human consciousness, search technology reflected the behavior and information preferences in the individual specific period, the set of countless search and comprehensive information eventually can be used to speculate the direction of mankind as a whole cultural.With the growth of multi-information, providing all users with the same entrance apparently unable to meet specific user's needs in-depth inquiry. So we need a topic-oriented search engine which can classify accurate, comprehensive and in-depth, update timely on data. Topic-specific search engine is tied to provide a specific field for a certain value of the information and related services. The target is to build internet information resources in some particular topic area, intelligent gathering the related topic information resources on the internet. Its feature is the "specialized, sophisticated, deep" and the industry background.This paper based on Lucene search engine framework for the research and application, it described in detail the design and characteristics. It also studies deeply in the scoring system. Nutch is a web search implementation which built on the base of lucene. Nutch provide a complete plug-in mechanism which can be easily extended for secondary development. This paper develops a third-party tool to visualize the lucene special data format, in order to convenience the developers to analyze and search the indexing data. This paper raise a view to establish a related topic-dictionary for all kinds of different related industry, and establish a topic search engine more efficiently, and certify it by the help of improved Chinese word segmentation techniques. Then discussed the applicability that the topic search engine applied to some industry.
