To establish Our own TDRSS(Tracking Data Relay Satellite System) is our nation's key research goal from now on. Now, this project has being done. Reviewing the other developed nation's experiences, we should establish the system model, and simulate it at first. By this way, we can offer the valid simulated data to system designers, and the process of developing TDRSS can be optimized.This paper analyzed the two factors, group delay and phase noise, which impair the relay satellite communication system's performance obviously, by a platform for the special modulation technology——TCM(Abbreviation for Trellis Coded Modulation)/8PSK,By analyzing the simulated data we can draw some useful conclusions to the system designer.
