Fiber Bragg Grating technology realizes another important breakthrough in Fiber Communication field after EDFA. As laser goes through fiber, the refractivity of fiber will change by external light intensity and linear relation between them will be preserved forming a gating field in the core. Essentially, the grating field is just like a filter with narrow band, which can choose different wavelength.Based on the property above FG sensory tech is born as a new and developing sensory means that can make responsibility for external physical variables by FG sensors. FG sensor has many advantages including the electromagnetism immunity, the good anti-corrosion, the quick sensitivity and fine stabilization. The different packages make FG apply conveniently in the test and control of many projects and have vast vistas for civil uses.This paper carries out theory researches combining with experiments. The purpose contains comprehending FG sensory tech and designing a weight measurement system based the tech. Up to now, some conclusions can be draw as follows:(1) Introduce the making of FG and its designing methods and analyze the FG indexes in detail.(2) FG sensor can be used in the fields of electrical sensor. Because the two sensors are of about the same indexes in linear and repeatability of data.(3) Analyze the sensory index of FG and eliminate the effect of external temperate through experiments.(4) In order to show results on screen, micro controller is used to receive and analyze the output signals from wavelength demodulator.(5) For designing the static wavelength demodulator independently, a design is given, which has a certain operation.(6) Make a experimental platform for true weigh measurement system to analog the true effect where material and elastic mechanics are needed.(7) FG sensor shows good indexes in status estimation, but there is a contradiction between measuring range and resolution ratio when it is used in accurate measurement. The only way is to bring in or make a sensor with large range.
