It is an extremely very challenging subject of the field in the field of computer figures to rebuild the three-dimensional face models of people. With development of virtual reality, production of film and TV , game amusement , videophone ,etc., this research field area is paid more and more close attention by people. This text is engaged in the research in this respect mainly.This paper has defined the face feature points based on the research of the physiological features of the human face. This paper introduces several main methods utilizing stereo vision technology to carry through 3D facial reconstruction and carries through comparative analysis on the methods. This paper chooses the scheme using 3D facial reconstruction. The concrete thinking and algorithm are given in the scheme to use the features to reconstruct face. In the end the scheme makes 3D reconstruction face carry through texture mapping and processing for simulating realistically. In the paper, the main researches are the followings:(1) Baced on the analysis of facial natural physiology structure characteristic, refered to the standard of MPEG-4 about characteristic points regional distribution of facial defining the parameter and combined with the demand of this paper, characteristic point distribution of face is defined.(2) Have studied several methods of utilizing stereo vision principle to carry through 3D facial reconstruction and carried through comparative analysis, 3D reconstruction scheme is adopted in the paper.(3) 3D facial reconstruction research has reconstructed 3D model of specific face from some characteristic datum. Its emphasis is using DFFD algorithm, named free form deformation, which is not used in feature point deformation coordinate setting of facial model, carring on adaptability improvement to these algorithms and using B adding skin algorithm to carry on the construction of curved surface to the net model rebuilded.(4) Finally, we carry through the illumination model choice to the specific face model, utilize OpenGL texture mapping technology and resume realistic specified face modeling sense.
