Along with the extensive application of the embedded software in aerospace, its reliability has become wider issue of the astronautics technican's interest. Because of the particularity of the payload embedded software, the existing software reliability test methods aren't suitable for its reliability test, the embedded software of payload hadn't any project practice so far, and it hadn't quantity analysis either. Therefore the research of the payload embedded software reliability test method has become important domain of the astronautics technological development.This article has analyzed the theory and technology of embedded software reliability simulation test, proposed for the first time a quota method for payload embedded software reliability, and puts forward a measure formula. The method considers input degree of coverage and the interrupt to the sentence degree of coverage into the reliability measurement, and analysis the reliability quantitative in the non-expiration data situation. Based on the principle of enhancing the reliability test sufficiency, the designed method makes the input degree of coverage as the principle to choice of test case, and makes the interrupt occurence to the sentence degree of coverage as the restraint of software reliability test movement, and mesures the software reliability based on the designed formula, it also set special request to the simulation test environment which is one of reliability simulation test essential conditions. The simulation test environment is the imitation of the peripheral connections of the system which will be test, it takes the hardware as foundation. In the hardware simulation, we full consider the general character of the system peripheral equipment, and designed the essential equipment 1553B bus controller and data acquisition as well as the control drives channel. In the software simulation, we design for special software, consider the structure of the software which will be test, set variable operation period and different work mode, support the function of the simulation for fault condition and test for the tolerant performance. Based on the above design characteristic, this method has good practice value, and also has the very strong reference value to later embedded software reliable simulation test method research.This article applies the payload embedded software reliability simulation test method and the simulation environment to the software reliability test of CE-1 payload Microwave sounding set.We make quantitive reliability measure for the embedded software without obtained any invalid data during the test.The designed software reliability simulation method is the preliminary study to the payload embedded software reliability simulation test, and it is also preliminary practice of the payload embedded software reliability test. The method is the payload software reliability simulation testing new attempt, which has important practice significance.
