Application And Research Of Intrusion Detection System Based On Load Balancing

With the development of internet technology, especially the E-Business, E-Government and E-Bank, Internet has become a part of our daily life. At the same time, more and more serious internet security problem has become the obstacle that limits the development of internet technology. At present the mainly technical ways of solving the internet security are firewalk, security router, identity verification system and so on, most of which belong to the scale of static security technology. The static security technology takes certain effect on preventing illegal intrutions. However, from the view of secutiry administration, defense is not enough, and dynamic strategy also should be adopted. Thus intrution detection technology is the way of dynamic technology strategy, which can do real time inspect and protect internet from attack.Meanwhile with the application of high-speed intranet and optical fiber comunications technologies, the higher request has been demanded on internet capability and traffic bandwidth. From the previous speed 10M/100M bits to present kilomega bits network, the high-speed network has become the general trend indicates of future network. The high-speed network put forward higher request to intrusion detection system. Under the high-speed network environment, traditional intrusion detection system will appear throwing of severity a pack/leak to wrap phenomenon, and will face a lot of new problems. Currently the reaarch of intrusion detection system used in high-speed networks environments is still in a beginning stage. This paper mainly solves the problem of intrusion detection system under the high-speed network environment. By combined load balanceing technique and intrusion detection system together to meet the request of high speed environment.This paper analyses the present high-speed network demanded on intrusion detection system. Aimed at the disadvantages of present IDS used in high-speed network environment, the paper discusses the problem of how to realize implementation of IDS based on dynamic load balancing. The paper raises load balancing strategy based on multi-Agent system and applies the strategy to intrusion detection system. The paper realizes the combination of load balancing strategy and intrusion detection technology, and designs an intrusion detection system based on load balancing, as well as the design of the main modules of this system. The system applies multi-Agent load balancing to intrusion detection system, thus realizes the dynamic load balancing of high-speed network. As a result it improves the system intergrated capability, and better solves the problem of high rate of false positive and false negative. At last there is a summary of this paper, and the future work that will be done is pointed out.
