Chaos is a special moving form of nonlinear dynamics system, and it is definite and random like process. Chaotic signal has the properties of ergodicity, nonperiodicity, continuous broadband power spectra, and noise like etc. Along with the theoretically thorough research and the physical realization on chaos, the chaos application research on the radar communication caused more and more widely attention of people.The radar request the transmitting signal has great band width and complex waveform to obtain high range resolution and enhance the signal covert characteristic, the chaos signal obviously conforms to this development direction. Which type of radar signal waveform to use, is one part of radar system design contents, also gradually becomes today's hotspot and difficulty of research.On the basis of analyzing many kinds of chaotic system feathers and the elementary theory of radar, basis research is done to the radar waveform signal design. In the research process, the theoretical analysis and the computer simulation are organic synthesized, provides the theory and experiment foundations for the chaos system in radar waveform signal design application.Take the chaos radar point target model as the rationale, conducts the analysis research to the chaos radar signal waveform feasibility. Take two typical radar signal which formed by chaos Logistic and Tent mapping as an example, analysis its auto-correlation, mutual correlation characteristic as well as the ambiguity function, the simulation result indicated that the chaos radar signal's relevance is better, has good speed and range resolution, thus further certificates the feasibility of chaos radar profile signal design. This dissertation proposes a kind of mixed chaos radar signal which formed by the sole chaos mapping. Studies the mixed chaos system's dynamics model which constituted by limited chaos system, analysis the related characteristic and the ambiguity characteristic of three kind of different chaos radar signals and its mixed chaos radar signal's through the simulation, the simulation result indicates the mixed chaos radar signal has incisive correlation characteristic and ambiguity characteristic.
