The Development And Application Of HIS For ChiFeng College's Affiliated Hospital

Hospital is a necessary part of modern human life. It plays a part of protect healthy of people and diminish the pain of people. Ordered and effective management in hospital is very important. Hospital Information System (HIS) is necessary to develop when information technology is extended in hospital. Nowadays, both domestic and overseas large hospitals have been developed utilizing HIS in their management. However, most of our country's small hospitals are still managed the hospitals by handwork and paper documentary. Nevertheless, the systematic HIS in large hospitals are not suitable for small ones. For a effective HIS is one that is fit for the size and can make the medical process efficient, to develop a effective HIS that is fit for the small hospitals is meaningful. Thus, that can improve the efficiency and service to the patients. Meanwhile, it can widely improve the level of medical care in our country.A HIS for small hospital provide medicine information management, charge management, system management, system management etc.The development language is Visual Basic.Net, which is OOP (Object Oriented Programming), technology. It provides all kinds of OOP tools, especially data windows, which is intelligent object that is convenient and easy to operate. Meanwhile, since having lots of structured data to be processed, the system's data store is provided by DATABASE technology. The database is designed and realized by Microsoft SQL Server. The visit to the database in the program is completed by"Systems. Data". Using"SQL connection"to connect with the data,"dataset"to store the data and SQL language to modify the data.The system is developed under Windows, so it has the advantage of friendly interface and easy to be used. However, because too much dependency to Microsoft (MS-WINDOWS+MF-VB+MS-SQL), the portability of the system is very weak. Without the MS environment, the program has to be rewired. And this is the limit of the system. ChiFeng College's Affiliated Hospital has developed the HIS from 2000, but because of the money,person and technology the project hasn't been finished. I joined the university in 2004 to get the bachelor degree and have got some knowledge by teacher's teaching. So I think I can do something good to our hospital. I have read lots of information abroad, and also do some research in many places. At last ,I decided to apply the technology of OO and use C/S structure to design and develop ChiFeng College's Affiliated Hospital's HIS .HIS is typical IS, its development basically contains two parts: one is ackground database's construction and correction, the other is front applying character's development. As to the first, we have built a database which data is consistent,complete and safety. And the last one need the applying system has full functions and easily to be used. The learning of VB.NET is a big project wasting of practice and energy. In this course, we have to understand the development of OO, because of the base of C language, it is not too difficult to understand the structure. But there are always problems because of first design. Unfamiliar of structure is a basic reason of writing slowly. These questions will be solved in the future.This system uses Microsoft SQL Server2000,it is a strong database system, it stands for micro availability of relationship database system .So we can use it to build,develop,design and manage the database system. Otherwise, this article use such popular OO method, in the system design, I use some characters as method,project.本So this article can solve the large software management, and give a effective way to develop the availability and management of the software.His of ChiFeng College's Affiliated Hospital has been used in 2006.Because of using the management of computer, we have saved lots of human power and money. Also this apply convenience for the patients. As a whole, we have reached good social efficiency.Most of the functions like medicine information management, charge management, system management and data search has been developed and tested.
