The Research And Application Of The Interface Software Between 5ESS Switching System And 97 Telecom System

According to the current status of Telecom network automation, on the basis of the researching in the interface between the 97 system and the 5ESS telephone switching system,and the application of VB MSCOMM,to realize calling of the 97 system database, automatically testing the subscribe lines of the switch, obtaining the result by comparing the test data with the experience data.Discussing the basis and the current status of the digit switching technology in the first part of this article, It is the tendency to improve the connection ability of the switch and other types of communication network at the current status.the traditional telecom company improves their automation level accompany with Computers are now in widespread use. It is necessary that the telecom company develops the technology of the access between the switching system and the 97 system to deal with the telecom bills automatically.it is reasonable and economy to realize the switch subscribe lines testing automatically on the basis of the computer and switch technology developing.In order to realize the access between the switching system and the 97 system database,and test the subscribe lines of the switch automatically,The summary of 5ESS telephone switching system and the 97 telecom system., the 112 test system and VB MSCOMM module are described in this article.On the basis of the summary, the idea that how to design the system software is given, including of that how to realize the access, how to take out the bills automatically that have been given to the the 112 test system, how to design the automatic-testing software, and how to obtain the result from the tested data. Then it analyzes the demands of system,and describes the illustrations,and then it gives the chief describes: the 97 telecom system can be connected with the 5ESS on the basis of the software that is build up on the 97 system,it can take out the data that is sent form the 112 test system,and then deal with it in real time,looks up the datas and checks the result. It gives the computer interface on the GUI method that makes it possible to not handle the 5ESS switching system directly. The system has three modules: the application server_dealing module,the switch-operation module and the business-dealing module.It describes the method how to realize the system access in the artice:the application software connects the 97 system database by the ODBC data resource,it communicates with the 97 system by two tiggers.the application software communicate with the switch through the RS232 interface of the computer, it connects the switch and operate it through the VB MSCOMM module.It gives the method that how to abtain the experience datas: according to a lots of test done by the operators,then averages the datas,it will obtain the results.Summarizing the system application result ,introducing the limitation of the system,and outlooking how to improve the system.
