Along with the development of auto industry, engineering machinery, Hydrodynamic Torque Converter has become an indispensable device of transmission. New types torque converter emerge in endlessly. To facilitate different types of Hydrodynamic Torque Converter manufacturing and product quality testing, Based on the principle of universal applicability, the development of a torque converter static and cycle hydraulic tester is necessary.This paper is based on the actual topic of "A torque converter static and cycle Hydraulic tester". It presents overall design program based on PC, PCI data collecting and controlling. The static and cycle tester tag of Hydraulic torque converter is a mechatronic equipment design in integration of mechanical engineering, hydraulic control technology , computer automatic control technology, and High-precision measurement technology.The system is programmed by Borland Delphi 7.0,Mainly uses Multithreading, database technology and software reuse technologies to the completion of the tester of Hydrodynamic Torque Converter in the state of static pressure for its test sites's expansion, also the tester under cycle pressure for its test sites 's deformation. To achieve higher accuracy, the tester of static pressure uses of closed-loop control of the entire trial.According to multi-task of the Windows XP computer's time characteristics, the tester of cycle pressure of Hydrodynamic Torque Converter uses 'GetTickCount' function with the use of open-loop control of a single point to complete hydraulic controlling. After the test, the system will automatically generated test report. Automatic control systerm can orepation while Nobody duty and automatic alarm when the fault occur.The tag can successfully simulate actual conditions of oil-pressure in the hydraulic torque converter. Meanwhile system use the type of YJH300B-1 Hydrodynamic Torque Converter test the deformation of Static-pressure-Ballooning and its cycle-endurance under cycle pressure.We quite satisfied with the results.The successful development of the testing system, and improved torque converter test, The design also provides a certain reference value for a similar device.
