Research On Model And Achievement Of Middleware Of Active Database

The outstanding characteristic of Active Database is able to provide active service. The mechanism can meet the active needs facilely. However, the existing database products which are able to provide active mechanism is difficult to study and the risks are great. Now the domestic market for the products is occupied by the foreign famous company, which it is very difficult to break into. Our system uses middleware structure, provides the active mechanism to a certain extent. The users can not only use the database products they are familiar to, but also use the excellent performance which active database mechanism can bring about. Based on the theory and implementation of the dual perspectives, the paper explores active database middleware model and achievement technology. What I have done went into details are described as follows:1. Our task puts forward "a transitional model from the active database to the relational database." The specific method is that we don't amend the existing RDBMS while provide another alternative methods. Based on the relational database which is not able to provide active mechanism, we perform the active mechanism for it. Moreover, we intercalate an interface layer between the application and RDBMS, which can provide active mechanism for the relational database management system to make the system trigger actively.2. Put forward an approach to achieve confluent rule execution in active databases.3. Describe communicative mechanism between client and server of active database middleware.4. Perform a database middleware creativity.
