Flapping-wing micro air vehicles (FMAV) are new conceptual air vehicles that mimic the flying modes of birds and insects. They have the advantages of small sizes, light weights, low costs, good stealth abilities and high maneuverability, and widely used in the fields of military and civil applications. The study of FMAV is a multidisciplinary research, its overall designing and fabrication course is a complicated systemic project covers many kinds of applied technologies. However, FMAV's fabrication is a completely new field, which doesn't have many existed designing theories and models. Therefore, its fabrication is basically according to the intergration of calculation, desiging, imitation and expericement. This paper makes research on the moving images in accordance with computer vision on the basis of FMAV's expericement, and calculates the moving parameters, which will provide assistant to FMAV's optimization and improvement.Since there isn't a general computer vision detection technology, it must take different way to different situation. This paper designs a moving testing course to FMAV on the base of images. It introduces algorisms and steps in the testing course firstly, including three object detection ways, preprocessing and feature extraction, it also presents the result, such as vibration frequency of flapping-wing, aviation speed. It makes a program on the basis of VC++6.0. The result shows the feasibility and credibility of this detection method, which has a significance impact on the optimization and improvement of FMAV.
