Along with the developing of informational technology and the popularization of digital product, embedded system with computer technology, chip technology and software technology for the core becomes current researched and applied hot points. In communicated industry, embedded system is applied in communicated machine, such as router and switcher etc. Most of embedded system is developed on embedded operating, memory management is one of key question of embedded system develop. In developing, mostly familiar problems are: memory leaking, memory fragments, memory protects and difficult memory fault as lack of effectual memory information, etc.Aiming at memory management problem in embedded system, embedded system of ZXR10 uses platform memory management mechanism, in order to make sure that uses memory safely, reliably and high efficiency, it developed by ZTE independently is supported software system for router and switcher communicated machines. Its memory management's goal is to manage memory of embedded operating system, provide allot and free memory interface functions and seeing memory information functions, and memory protects, memory leaks checking etc. Following is my main work:1. Design architecture of embedded system of ZXR10, architecture includes protocol layers, system control module and memory management module based on VxWorks.2. Analyses and researches memory management mechanism of VxWorks carefully, promotes it and transplants it to ZXR10 system, which makes it more fit to develop supported software in router and switcher etc. communication machines.3. Imports memory management of embedded system ZXR10, divides memory region of embedded system into fitted memory block, stack and fast memory allot queues, fitted memory block can reduces memory fragments, time stamp can check memory leaking, fast memory allot queues can satisfies protocol that needs big memory spaces at once, adds several bytes to stack header to protect memory, some memory information seeing functions is convenient when memory is fault.
