MHT Encryption Scheme And Its Application In Condition Access System

MHT Encryption Scheme is a brand new Video Encrption which can finish multimedia encryption via entropy encoding. It has simple structure, low compution cost and high real-time property.This paper introducts MHT Encryption principle and analyzes its safty property. Two Schemes can be used to help MHT Encrytion against chosen-plaintext attack by inserting a random bit into the entropied bitstream or using a pseudo-random number generator to generate the index key.As the MHT Encryption is enhanced in this way, a parallel pipelined architecture is used to realize its high speed implement.Condition Access System (CAS) has been verified as a mature system, which can ensure multimedia data security by scrambling the data and encrypting the key used. However, general scrambling arithmetic is too complex and high cost. The MHT Encryption is used as the scrambling arithmetic in CAS to simplify system structure, where the safty property of MHT can also be improved.
