With the development of Internet, the information transferred on network is playing a more and more important role. But this information varies from good to bad, some even can do harm to the stability and security of our country. For the sake of national security, the government takes some measures, such as IP blocking and Keyword filtering, to block harmful information. But there are still a type of software which can encrypt data and transfer them through dynamic secure proxies. These encrypted data can not be recognized by the current filter. What we are going to do is to analyze this kind of software, grasp their mechanism and present a scheme to control them.We choose UltraSurf and FreeGate applications, which take the lead in this type of software, to analyze. First we unpack the executable files, then analyze them through disassembly technology and network monitoring. Finally, we grasp the communication protocol they used to obtain the IP addresses of the secure proxies, and reveal the secrete data stored in the applications which used to gain secure proxies, including static domain names and IP addresses.Based on the analysis results of UltraSurf and FreeGate, we present a scheme to control these two applications. We also validate our scheme by thorough experiments in the network of our laboratory. The result proves that our scheme can stop the running of the two applications by preventing them from getting the IP addresses of the secure proxies, while do not block the innocent data flows,...
