The Research Of Off-line Handwriting Signature Verification Technology

In the recent information societies, computer technologies are more and more blended into our daily life unavoidably. Signature as a well-known individual certification method has been used for a long period, and still play an important role in lots of fields such as judicature, finance, insurance, commercial activities. So it's valuable for us to deal with the off-line signature verification research.In this thesis, we have reviewed the traditional certification technologies firstly and then do some research to the automotive signature verification under the off-line situation by computers.The mainly difficulties and localization have been analyzed in this article and the progress of both the domestic and overseas in this field have been summarized;Under the basis of the former efforts, the new solutions of combining three different kinds of features including shape, texture and stroke have been put forwards. The experiment results have confirmed that this method is more effective and robust compared with the using of single feature;The advantage of ANN has been studied under which the combined ANN classifiers have also been analyzed detailedly;An off-line Chinese signature verification system based on multi-features and combined classifiers have been developed, this solution is very successful and effective confirmed by the experiment results.
