Digital watermarking sysytem provides an effective resolving method for digital product copyright protect and data security. It is an important offset of the information hiding research field.With the development of digital watermarking,a lot of image watermaking systems produce wide request to robust .Unfortunately,the robust standards adopted by watermarking systems are different. The latest research on watermarking attack indicates that the robust evaluation used by image watermarking systems is incomplete as yet. Digital watermarking attack benchmark provides an universal testing flat for watermarking systems.Geometric attack, copy attack and Mosaic attack,etc are typtical attacking ways in watermarking attack technology and used by digital watermarking attack benchmark. Based on the research in the representative attacking ways ,we analyse the attacking classifications presented by Craver,Hartung,Voloshynovskiy,Boris,Cox and ect. Considering to the new attacking ways including hiding analysis. We present a new classification for the digital watermarking attack which contains all the watermarking attacking ways presented.Stirmark, Checkmark, Optimark, Certimark are typical digital watermarking attacking benchmark flats used widely. These benchmarks use geogmetric attacking ways to evaluate watermarking systems,but they can't afford a function renewing the attacked images and a proof of attacking successfully to the person whom the image belongs to. For this ,we study the periodical transform theory of matrix and construct a new periodical transform matrix. We prove the matrix' periodical characteristic and show the periodicity in different modulus.Discrete cosine tansform (DCT)is one of the kernel technologys in JPEG compress and used in digital image watermarking embeding usually. We apply the periodical transform matrix to the attacking to digital image watermarking and design the periodical digital watermarking attacking way based on DCT which afford a function of periodically attacking for watermarking attacking benchmark flat. Experiment results indicate that the proposed attack can not only attack the watermarking systems effectively limiting the visual quality of attacked image into the acceptable range,but also can prove its success.
