With the development of semiconductor materials, as a new type used in illumination field, white LED has many characteristic, such as small-sized, antiseismic, sturdy, durable, low power consumption etc. It shows great potential in illumination market. Considering characteristics of white LED and necessity of uniform brightness in portable field, they need to be driven by special power management circuits.The purpose of this task study a new power management way used to drive white LED luminescence, and design the general analog circuits'module. It provides technological reference for low power consumption and low cost LED driver. In this paper, we design a DC-DC converter. It used boost structure in external circuits. Two batteries or single lithium ion battery can provide power for converter. The output maximum achieve 36V, and the efficiency maximum achieve 85%.The switch frequency has 1.2MHz.It can minimize external component's volume because of higher frequency. Internal circuits used advanced current-mode control, based on conventional voltage-mode control. Simulation results show that this system can work properly and meet the design requirements.
