Research And Application On The MVC Design Pattern

Thanks to the rapid development of the Internet technology, the scope of the Web applications is expanding faster than ever. Nevertheless, in the existing Web application systems, limitations like low-reusable program modules, complicated maintenance works, deficiency in responding to changes, can often be found. So, great emphases are placed on how to design development period, how to decide framework for each layer, and how to choose the methods and the most suitable language.This article starts with the concept of the design pattern, and combined with the knowledge of the mechanics management system, introduces the purpose of this project. The mechanics management system is designed to meet the needs of railway enterprises. This main function of the system is to record logs, searching information, dispatch trains and store related information. In the process, authentication for operators is needed to provide different access levels. According to the process of the project, firstly, the basic concepts are given; secondly, system framework design is presented, including demand analyses, project design, functional design and database design. In the following section, the process of developing the system and methods used are described in detail, in which VS.NET 2003 and SQL Server are implied.In the last section, we summarize the advantages and limitations of the system, then, give a vision for the future work.
