Research On XML Secure And Fast Parsing Technique

In this thesis a new parsing technology of Extensible Markup Language which is based on Virtual Token Descriptor is studied. In the first part of the thesis, the developed background and developing trend of XML are introduced, the necessity of XML document parsing and fast parsing theory are also analyzed. The grammar and forms related to XML document are discussed in chapter two. The third part introduces the present parsing methods DOM and SAX and makes comparison of their performances. On the basis of the first three chapters, chapter four focused on the new parsing way VTD-XML. This method can improve the parsing performance of XML document both in speed and capability. VTD doesn't only resolve several problems brought by SAX or DOM, but also contains other benefits of non-extractive. The thesis puts forward an extend VTD-XML parsing method. The last part of this thesis introduces the encryption and signature technologies of XML, and discusses a security transform project in the end.
