A Hybrid Expert System Based On Extension Rule And CBR

Extenics is a novel subject in solving non-compatible problems,and its application in artificial intelligence gives a great wish to development of artificial intelligence. Extension logic provides a new mathematical tool for building expert system and makes representation of knowledge and method of reasoning similar to human's thinking manner.Case-based reasoning is one of the hottest reasoning approaches focused in last decade.In this thesis,extension logic is used in representation of expert knowledge and design of reasoning machine, and a novel model of reasoning machine is proposed,named as extension reasoning machine.To make up for disadvantages of single reasoning method, approach of extension rule reasoning is combined with case-based reasoning method,so as to design a novel hybrid expert system with database. The hybrid expert system is used for fault processing of C&C08 digital program controlled switch, and the test result shows it is reasonable and practicable.
