The design of neon lights'dynamic effect is one of the most important parts of the neon-light industry, the key of which is the design of scanning mode. There are some defects in traditional design methods, such as great power of work, long designing cycle, excessive duplicate labor, sightless of immediate designing effect and so on. Aim at all of above, a neon-light CAD system has been designed. Various scanning mode is built in the system, which offers system-level support for the most common scan mode, and users can define pattern as they like. Object-oriented design method is adopted in this system, so it has good interfaces and can expand for new scanning mode in future. If this system is used in practice, the design and visualization of the neon lights'dynamic effect is convenient and working efficiency can be improved. This paper clearly introduced the integrated design of the system and the implementation method of the grid-editing module. Some questions such as the parameter abstraction and the pattern layering are discussed in detail. |
