Implementation And Application Of Diffusion Smoothing Models On Tina Platform

Image smoothing is an important content in the field of image processing. In fact, the images we get are almost polluted by noise, so image smoothing is a basic step of image processing all the while. The quality of the process of image smoothing will directly affect the following process. According to this, this dissertation tries to do some research on the technique of image smoothing. The dissertation emphasizes on the study of the smoothing technique based on thediffusion model------diffusion smoothing. At first, the dissertation introduces therelationship between diffusion smoothing and Gaussion smoothing, and uses it to analyze the basic principles of another smoothing algorithms. Then it discusses some different schemes of numerical solution of the diffusion equation, including the complexity and the error estimation. At last, it proposes a series of improved algorithm, holding the boundaries shape effectively by a "weak leakage" model in the smoothing process. And then we carry out the smoothing algorithm on TINA platform based on the point of software engineering, and verify the advantage of the smoothing method by experiment.
