The Research And Design Of Enterprise Application Integration Based On SOA

With the rapid development of economy and globalization, nowadays, more and more enterprise applications in order to fit the requirement of business processes have to be integrated together or split into individuals, not only need to communicate internally but also externally especially, this is called enterprise application integration (EAI). Rapid reuse of existing assets and sharing of services and infrastructure across lines of business are critical to achieving business processes that can adjust to changing market conditions. But the IT environments are too complicated which can't be flexible to fulfill the requirement. The traditional architectures or methods of EAI can't adapt the development of business processes.The recent emergence of service-oriented architecture (SOA) has opened up new and previously unimagined ways to ease EAI. SOA has the potential to vastly improve IT's agility and efficiency. SOA is a business-centric IT architectural approach that supports integrating business as linked, repeatable business tasks, or services. SOA helps users build composite applications, which are applications that draw upon functionality from multiple sources within and beyond the enterprise to support horizontal business processes. So SOA gives us a blueprint of EAI, which is the tendency of the EAI's development.This article takes the integration of customer relationship management system (CRM) and enterprise resource planning system (ERP) as an example to research the methods of EAI based on SOA. It analyses the situation of nowadays enterprise application, gives the whole picture of SOA and investigate the service oriented analysis and design. Especially, it integrated hipregate CRM and erpv ERP two open source applications. From requirement, analysis, design, then implement, this article illustrates the whole process of this integration.Based on the successful integration of Hipergate CRM and erpv ERP, it proved that SOA is the best choice to integrate enterprise applications, and the methods of analysis and design base on SOA are flexible and effective.
