Distillation process is a common and typical unit produce process in the trade of chemical engineering,petroleum and medical, which is important tache in industry production. Batch distillation is widely used because the development in small-scale producing of high-value-added, low-volume specialty chemicals has increased.The dynamic model and its control method of batch distillation column are studied in this paper. Firstly, the dynamic mathematic model of batch distillation column is established by means of mechanism modeling method. The batch distillation is divided into general column stage region, condenser region and rebolier region. Each region is modeled separately and consist to a whole model. Two control strategies, PID control and PFC, are applied to batch distillation.In this paper, the controlled object is concentration of distillate , reflux ratio is selected as the manipulated variable. Simulation result shows,though PID control gain good performance, but compared with PFC,PFC gets better control performance and faster response.
