E-Learning is the application of computer technology in the education community. Compared to the traditional education pattern, the greatest advantages of e-learning are integration of multi-applications and great interactivity. With the application of Web Services in e-learning, it is now convenient to develop different services independently. And a highly effective integration platform is available for services integration. In the e-learning systems integrating various services, the services discovery technology is indispensable. After a long-term research, the conventional services discovery mechanism in Web Services, which is based on UDDI and WSDL, has been deemed as a well-accepted standard. In this paper, we lay the emphasis on the improvement of services discovery technology based on the features of e-learning application environments. The main purpose of this improvement is to effectively reflect the specific needs of e-learning systems.This paper treats the personality as the bridge between e-learning and Web Services discovery, and constructs a personalized Web Services search system in e-learning. The system realizes the human-centered design, and the required service flows are called and harmonized according to the personality of each learner, in this way, the management of service composition can be simplified.This paper first introduces the learner model CELTS-11 in Chinese e-learning Technology Standard (CELTS), and constructs a learner model in our environment according to the requirement of the personalized service search system. Then, based on the model, the construction and function of the system are illustrated. According to the requirement and traits of the system, the personalized algorithm is proposed based on the analysis and research of data mining. Finally, the service search system is constructed by J2EE, which includes manager module and learner module. Moreover, the function and capability of the system are also analyzed and appraised based on the experimental results.
