With increasing automatization level of textile enterprises, management information system is widely used in textile enterprises, they have established database system which covers with the process of yarn production in textile enterprises. In order to make full use of data and discover available knowledge containing in the data, and elevate the level of the yarn quality in textile enterprise, so the research work is based on data of yarn quality which exist in MIS of AnHui Huamao Group Co.,Ltd, the point is to research the data mining system based on the data warehouse of yarn quality, for making full use of the function of the data mining in yarn quality in textile enterprise, which can direct the production of the yarn.Firstly, in this paper, establish data warehouse of yarn quality based on database system of former MIS in textile enterprise, then assume to exploit the data mining system based on the data warehouse, and use the system to analyse yarn quality with OLAP and data mining, as a result ,get available information rules, after validation of practice and experts'evaluation, use the information rules to direct a process of production of yarn. The exploitation of the data mining system based on the warehouse of yarn quality, has established a groundwork for informational course of textile enterprise and establishment decision-making backup system. At the end of this paper, according to the corresponding relation of cotton-yarn quality, this paper has achieved the forecast of yarn quality according to cotton quality with the neural network BP arithmetic to train cotton-yarn corresponding model, and the result attains prospective purpose, so the means has partly practical meaning.
