DSP(Digital Signal Processor)used as the main chip to process the programming digital singnals is an important bench of the development of the computer. Meanwhile, it is an important tool of the processes to use the digital singnals theory. This paper introduced a system to press the sound singnals based DSP TMS320C5402. Sound pressing is a method to low amount of the digital sound. That not only makes the transfermation on the thin band into fact, but also makes the fee for the transfermation cheaper. The method introduced in this paper has a high speed and many functions. The old methods always have a low speed and not work in time.This system is divided into two parts, the hardware designs and the software designs. In the part of the hardware design, it mainly include, the design of the clock circuit, the design of the reset circuit, the design of the power circuit, the design of the ROM and RAM connections, the design of the A/D change and the design of the JTAG port. In the design of the clock circuit we choose the crystal concussion as the main part. In the design of the reset circuit we choosed the MAX706 as the main chip. That can make this system more credible. The TPS767D318 chip is used in the power system of the design, this chip can output 3.3V and 1.8V voltage at one time. We choosed the ICSI64LV16 and AT29LV1024 chips as the RAM and ROM. In the design of the A/D changing machine we used the MC145481 chip as the main chip. At last, this paper introduced the connection between the simulator and the DSP chip.In the part of soft design, this paper showed arithmetic on the sound signal pressing based the Haar wavelet. On this base, we improved the traditional method. Then, the arithmetic was tested on the MATLAB software.
