With the rapid development of science and technology, remote sensing carriage, sensors, remote sensing information processin and application of remote sensing have gained quite greate advancement. Users are not sitisfied with the greate evolution and innovation in entirely digitizing processing, visualizing, intelligentizing and network of remote sensing information. Increasingly enhancement remote sensing information (spectral or spacial) has not been mined and processed yet. The processing of remote sensing information, especially digital image processing and adjudging of remote sensing, become one of the kernel problems of the study of remote sensing technology.A series of approaches to enhance the adjudging of remote sensing images are required to ensure the correctness of the remote sensing image adjudging. The aim of remote sensing image enhancement is improving the visual quality of images, enhancing the difference or feature of target object. Therefore, the target object can be extracted from environment more precisely, and thus the image content can be recognized easily by analyser.According to the characteristics of the remote sensing multiple spectrum image, due to the differences of the distribution, after applying the present approaches of sensing digital image, we usually got an imprecise outcome. Especially, when some details that we are interested in are included in some smaller and average distribution areas, the approaches we mentioned probably can not recognize the details and objects effectively, and the original information may even be destroyed by the yawp introduced occasionally. Due to the complexity and uncertainty (fuzziness) that induced by distribution in the image, it is possible to apply the fuzzy set principle to image processing. Fuzzy set principle provides theory background for imprecise-factor-lead complex system and its decision process through the manner of fuzzy logic reasoning. A new approach based on fuzzy statistics for the multiple spectrum remote sensing image is presented in this paper. Integrating fuzzy mathematics and image enhancement procession,the new approach is a remote sensing image enhancement method, and transforming images from spatial representation to fuzzy representation to get a fuzzy feature plane is its basic idea. Images are processed in the fuzzy feature plane, and enhanced images are obtained by transforming back to spatial representation. The proposed approach herein gets more effective performance than the previous systems on stabilization, which is shown in numerous experiments.
