MIS (Management Information System) is a system composed of people and computers, which can collect, transfer, deposite, process, maintenance and use Management Information.The conception of MIS is materialized on its highly comprehensive and complex. It is comprehensive because it includes the conception of management, the conception of IT, and especially the conception of system.It is complex because it is a system which provide manager assistant management and decision-making using computer technology, communications technology, management decision-making technology and so on.With the very fast development of computer and relative technology, much software is widely used in each field and the level of information in society is advanced. Especially, the MIS being used in enterprises makes the level of information in enterprises advance largely. But in many enterprises, MIS are still based on traditional C/S model which make enterprises can't obtain a great efficiency of information management.The quick development of Internet brings a new way for people to get information and service. The commutative and transactional demand drives the Internet changing from web information issuance platform into web application platform, and traditional application and calculates base on single computer has been extended to application on the Web. So I decide to develop the system based on .NET platform.ASP.NET is a component of .NET platform frame. By dint of highly effective, save platform characteristic of .NET, using common language runtime (CLR) and its framework class library (FCL), it can develop functional and steady enterprise-level Web application which is stay on the IIS of Microsoft and use protocol such as HTTP, SOAP, etc. ASP.NET provides a Web application model. The model provides a few forms, controls and basic construct, which make programmers create Web application easily. ASP.NET provides a few HTML controls corresponding HTML element (such as button, textbox, etc.) and Web controls whose function is stronger. These controls run at server and show in manner of HTML element on the browser of client. These controls are controlled in manner of OO, which make programmer enjoy the virtue of OOP and predigest the complexity of the programs.ADO.NET object can let us save and get various data quickly and easily. ADO.NET provides identical access to Microsoft SQL Server data sources and data sources open via OLE DB and XML. Data-shared application can use ADO.NET to connect to these data sources, searching, operating and updating data. ADO.NET can decompose data access from data operation efficiently to many incontinuous components which can be used singly or in tandem. It contains .NET data provision programs which are used to connect to database, executed command and searches result. Result which is searched can be dealed with directly or put in ADO.NET DataSet object so that it can be assembled together with data from muti-source or data disposed long-distancely between layers, open to customer in special manner. ADO. NET DataSet object is also used independently from .NET data provision program so as to manage local data of application or data derived from XML.UML is one kind of modeling language, which has the characteristics of good definitions, easy to express, strong functions and universal suitable. It dissolved into the new thought, method and technology of software engineering field. Its function is not restricted in the analysis and design of supporting the object-oriented, but also the entire process of developing this software from the beginning of demand analysis. It has carried on the exploration of UML to develop this system and has the detailed requirements analysis and question domain analysis, determined the use case chart and class chart, established the database model and realized a quite complete step. This article, with the aid of the UML, a kind of object-oriented modeling language, detailed introduced the analysis of the whole system and the design process.To realize the flexible, maintainable, changeable and extendable demands quickly and successfully, the system adopts the latest MS .NET framework, applying advanced technique such as ASP.NET and ADO.NET, using Microsoft Visual Studio.NET as development environment, using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as support of background database, following the design pattern of software engineering and using the Rational Rose during the analysis and design phases. The realized functions of this system are as follows:1. Individual basic information management of general employee. General employee input individual basic information while registering, using its ID and password to login system to amend these information after registering successfully. The administrator of system can class employees according to their working state.2. The Stat. and query for individual information of employees. The administrator of system can search information of employees according to different query condition, entering corresponding page for fingerprints management on the basis of query results.3. Fingerprints information management of employees. The work mostly is collecting fingerprints of employees. The system renames collected fingerprints and saves to appointable catalog so as to manage expediently.4. The payoff of employees. The administrator of system input wage data to system for general employees and retired employees whose statuses are audited, completing the job of payoff.This article describes the system design and realization period based on the analysis of the adopted techniques and methods which is used to design and realize this system and is applicable for all the web information system based on .NET framework.
