The Design And Study Of CA Common Security Evaluation Module

Today, the development of IT have affected our society thoroughly. At the same time , IT Security becomes an important problem that we must face to. CA(Certificate Authority), as the trusted third part, affirms the entity identity, then binds the entity's public key and the identity together by signing in the entity's certificate. The certificate is an identifier of entity. When the entity uses his certificate, CA maintains the binding.CC(Common Criteria For Information Technology Evaluation) puts emphasis on the safety of the information product, and it's a kind of standerd that most people accept or approve. This paper studies how to make a scientist and completely evaluation module based on CC. First, the paper introduces information security, the recent study state of security evalution module. Then, the paper introduces the cencept of CC, its structure, common module and request. And then this paper introduces the concept of CA, PKI, and form a evaluation module. At last,this paper evaluates the CA system of Anhui Bearau of CBRC with the module, and give some suggestion of information security.
