As the application of the computer increasing , the Government has spent a great deal of time and resource establishing a massive and complicated information system , and accumulated a great amount of valuable data resource .For the riches of data but lack of knowledge, the database technology utilizing at present by the government can't mine the important information hiding behind the data . So it is the subject to settle up how quickly , accurately ,effectively to provide the leaders with the information needed ,to seek out the potential connection between the information and supply the accordance for the leaders to decide.Data Warehouse is a form of data decision ,which is subjected-oriented , integrated ,stable ,and time variant collection of data in support of management decision. We analysis the concept , structure , design model and design methods of Data Warehouse in the paper.Data mining also called knowledge discovery in database ,has been widely studied in the field of database in recent years , in which mining method of association rules mining is an importance problem .The mining method of association rules is to find out the behavior pattern by finding the connection between the item in transaction database. We analyze the information using association rules and other data mining methods and analyses methods. The main design of thinking is to use the tow part of frequent item set and the mining algorithm can be divided into tow problems.
