The mobile communication has already experienced more than 20 years development since started to enter the public communication domain from 1980's until now. Along with progress of correspondence technology and maturity of network architecture, all kinds of requirements in basic telecommunication service have already obtained satisfies. And the status which wireless value-added service occupies in the industrial structure is more and more important.Many companies have carried on the corresponding service platform development projects. Aiming at the present situations that most of existed platform, which only support one kind of wireless content delivery and does not have the integrity of the content security and the copyright protection mechanism, we developed a general wireless content delivery platform, which supports maintenance, management and delivery of all kinds of different content type. Our system also implements MIDP 2.0 and OMA DRM, which strengthens the security and property right protection during the delivery process.The organization of the dissertation is as follows. Chapter 1 briefly introduces the evolution and present situation of the value-added service and the role of wireless content delivery in it. The second chapter discussion the evolution of wireless content downloads model and the wireless content security problem, which includes the evolution from HTTP model to OMA DRM model, content security such as encryption, authentication, security socket and digital property right protection. In chapter 3, we will present the design and implement of the content delivery platform that I have participated in from different perspectives, such as the architecture, components and implement detail. Chapter 4 will present our forecast about the content delivery and wireless value-added service.
