Multiple-input and multiple-output or multiple-transmission and multiple-receiving antenna technology is a significant breakthrough in smart antenna techniques of wireless mobile communication field. It can improve communication systems capacity and spectrum efficiency obviously without increasing bandwidth request, which makes it the key technology in new generation mobile telecommunication systems.MIMO technologies can be divided into two groups: open-loop (OL) MIMO technologies and close-loop (CL) ones. For OL-MIMO system, the transmitter processes signals through spatial multiplexing or space-time coding before sending out with no feedback information to the receiver. While in CL-MIMO system, the transmitter makes use of the channel state information (full or partial) or special scheme information from the receiver to adjust the sending signals to match the channel conditions, such as making...
