Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is the technique divides the high rate data into many low rate data which can be transmitted onto some orthogonal subcarriers. Compared with the traditional single-carrier system, OFDM has many advantages, such as high spectrum efficiency, availability of counterwork with frequency-selected fading and multi-paths fading, easier modulation and demodulation, a receiver without complex equalizer. As a result, OFDM has already been the important solution of the next generation wireless communication system. However, OFDM technique still has some drawbacks. One is the multi-carrier synchronization problem; another is the high peak to average power ratio (PAPR). Refer to PAPR problem, since every OFDM signal is the sum of many independent signals modulated onto subchannels of equal bandwidth, high PAPR will be produced when several suchannels have same or appreciative phases. it will cause in-band distortion and out-band interference, When such a signal with large dynamic span is sent into nonlinear implements, which will, as a result, decrease the spectrum efficiency, as well as the performance of OFDM system. In order to deal with this problem, three classes of possible solutions for PAPR reduction have been proposed, which are timing signal predistortion algorithm, coding algorithm and optimized choice algorithm which include multiple signal representation techniques. But till recently, the research of those algorithms is mainly on theories. In this thesis, with a practical purpose,...
