The Secure Ether Network Card, which is a sort of safety, integrates the data encryption technology into the network card and provides the encryption and the authentication services to the link layer. It will need large numbers of keys for encrypted information transmission in the communications if the terminal units install the Secure Ether Network Card.Thus,the key management appears extremely important to the Secure Ether Network Card.Thereinto,the safe distribution of keys is the pivotal issue in the key management of the Secure Ether Network Card.Taking the subject of "the 10M/100M Secure Ether Network Card" as the research background,this article has made an in-depth study about the key management technology of the Secure Ether Network Card, analyzed several typical key agreement protocols and designed a key management scheme of the Secure Ether Network Card associating with its own characteristics.On this foundation,it has designed a key agreement protocol which integrated Diffie-Hellman's key exchange thoughts with the symmetrical cryptogram system key assignment thoughts.Furthermore,it has made a formalized logical analysis about this protocol by using the class BAN logic's analysis tool SVO, carried out the simulation on it by using the OPNET software,and proven that this key agreement protocol could realize the consultation of keys and the safe distribution of keys in the Secure Ether Network Card.
