Grid is a new technology, which is rapidly developing with the development of the Internet technology. It makes the complete sharing of resource come true and offers transparent superior services to the users. Grid service often extends to many virtual organizations, so it can achieve the collaborative sharing of resource. Integrating trust into grid can improve the reliability of grid entities' interoperation.Security is one major concern in grid researches and trust management is the fundamental for grid security. Based on the research of trust relationship and grid security technology in existence and the complexity of the web of trust, it described a hierarchical reduction for the web of trust The fuzzy nature of behavior trust is considered, and the fuzzy set theory has been used to model the issues of trust management. The formalized valuation of behavior trust is given, the evaluations of trust are discussed, and a trust management model is provided. Analysis and the simulation experiments indicate that this model can manage trust effectively, evaluate trust among entities precisely and resolve security problem brought from resource collaboration. The trust management model can perfect the architecture of grid security service.
