Image segmenting technology is becoming one of the most active research topics in the domain of computer vision and image processing in recent years. This strong interest is driven by a wide spectrum of promising application and theory significance in many areas such as smart surveillance system and martial application, etc.The paper was focusing on image segmenting technology and image after processing technology. Algorithms of segmenting and picking up the motion goals were studied and analyzed deeply. According to the problems existing in the images picked up which reduced the quality of the images, the image after processing technology was discussed and analyzed. Firstly, present image segmenting algorithms were studied and analyzed in detail. And on the basis of this, a new automatic segmenting algorithm was proposed, which could get the motion goals in real time by subtracting background information from the current frame after getting the background frame by reconstruction. Then, the importance was put on to the edge roughness and the inane points problems existed in the images picked up, and the material solutions were proposed, which could get the improved images by binary and morphologic operation.At the end of the paper, some other ideas about the future work were proposed.
