Concerning the industry production needs, the real-time characteristic of data process and transmission is expecially required for the control system. To design a real-time CANbus intelligentized gateway is the key to combine CANbus with the Ethernet. Therefore, this paper uses a real-time operating systemμC/OS-II, which is able to improve the real-time characteristic when executing some emergent task. At the same time, it uses the M / M/1 rank model to rank the data and information to be processed in one task with the preemptive ranking method to further improve the gateway's performance.On the other side, there may exist several CAN buses running at different speed in one CAN industry field. Thus the paper uses a LPC2294 ARM controller.It's special hardware resource is able to manage several CANbuses at ease. Furthermore, regarding the compatibility with the old equipment in the factories of our nation, we keep both the traditional interface RS232 and RS485 designedly.Finally, the paper provides the detailed hardware and software design of CAN intelligentized gateway, Successed in the real test in the CANbus industry field, it validates that the design is able to receive the expected goal.
