The three phase asynchronous motor have been widely used as main prime mover of electric drive in many industrial and mining enterprises because of their simple structure, easy maintenance, stronger mechanical characteristic and cheap price. Under many operating condition, big power asynchronous motors often operate at their no load's and light load's state, at which the three phase asynchronous motors waste the most energy sources on account of their lower power-factor and mechanincal efficiency. If an appropriate optimization algorithm can be used for optimizing the three phase asynchronous motor's power-factor and mechanical efficiency at no load's and light load's situation, the best control rev can be found to control the running motor, which make the motor consume the least electric energy. Genetic algorithm is easy and efficient methods of optimization, showing us clearly a current approach of solving complicated system's optimization problem and providing a convincing gist for solving the three phase asynchronous motor's synthesis optimization about the power-factor and mechanical efficiency at the no load's and light load's state in this paper.Power-factor, mechanical efficiency and slip's relation among them will theoretically be detailedly analysed and deducted by mathematical methods, and a mathematic expression will be gotten about the three variables. This step is a key to apply the genetic algorithm to solving the optimization problem. Then select appropriate genetic algorithm and set parameters of the genetic algorithm to programme and to simulate, studying and discussing optimal results. And then, optimized result will be transformed into input that control system will want to realize the energy saving control for three phase asynchronous motor at their no load and light load. Simulating results show that the three phase asynchronous motor can get optimal energy control effective under characteristic slip corresponding to rev.
