Layered Bidirectional Reasoning And Its Application In Operation Ticket Expert System

With the development of artificial intelligence technology,expert system is being used in more and more areas.Research and implementation of reasoning machine, which is the core of expert system,are very important in practical sense.In this paper,a kind of layered bidirectional reasoning technology is introduced and implemented. This technology is based on production system,and extends the meanings of its condition and operation couples.The reasoning rules are divided to layers through breaking down the reasoning task,which makes it easy to collect,represent and store them. Bidirectional reasoning is adoped in this techonogy. Foreword reasoning is drived by data,which is the reasoning condition.Backword reasoning is drived by the object,which is just the task.This kind of layered reasoning technology makes the reasoning procedure very simple,and improves the reasoning efficiency.According to this reasonging technology, knowledge representation of the system makes great use of the excelence of relational database. Parameters of the power grid device objects are stored in relational tables.This technology is provided with favourable expansibility.Problems caused by new operation task can be easily solved by adding new reasoning rules.Using this method, a operation ticket expert system used in provincial power dispatching centre is developed. Auto-generation of the operation tickets including power grid devices'routine operations is realized in this system,which assures the correctness of the operation tickets and improves the work efficiency of dispatchers.The reasoning rules are managed through a layered way, they can be modified or added when needed. So maintenance of the system is very easy.Proved by practice,expert system with a core adopting layered bidirectional reasoning technology has good values of popularization and appliance.
