Emotion plays an important part in people's everyday life. As recent researches have shown, emotion is an advanced function of human brain, guaranteeing the existence and adaptation of the organism and having important influence on individual learning, memory, and decision-making. Understanding how emotions function and why they sometimes malfunction is critical to our individual and societal health. However, there are many difficulties to research emotion in the area of psychology. Individual's emotional state may be influenced by kinds of situations, and different people have different subjective emotional experiences even response to the same stimulus. Emotions are typically associated with observable physiological changing patterns as well as subjective appraisals and cognitive components representation. It often involves particular self-experience, facial expression, emotive speech, expressive behavior, gesture and physiological responds in autonomic nerve system.Children's Emotion Laboratory of Research Center for Learning Science(Southeast University) focuses on the children's emotion and cognitive activities to learn their growing state and individual difference and to help them overcome the difficulties when communicating with other people. In order to prevent the devices from influencing the children's nature state, we proposed"Portable/Wearable"concept and decided to build a tiny wireless local network to transmit the samplings. One of this paper's emphasis is how to realize the research platform which included three components: Data Collection, Data Analysis and Integration. Currently, we only used three physiological indexes: ECG, Temperature and Skin Resistor. In the last chapter of this paper, we devised a classification based on the Fisher Liner Discrimination Function to discriminate two emotional states: Anxiety and Joy. In the experiment, we got the followed results.Accuracy of Anxiety: 94.4%Accuracy of Joy : 91.2%...
