More and more digital goods for the consumers appear in the market, such as VCD AND DVD. this makes the copyright management and protection of them, which uses digital watermarking as a crucial technique, much more urgent in the market .The technology of digital watermarking, which provides an effective solution to the issue ,has become a hot topic in the field of multimedia information security and been laid stress on by an increasing number lf people.Digital watermarking has first been extensively studied for still images. Today however, many new watermarking schemes are proposed for other types of digital multimedia data, the so-called new objects: audio, video, text and 3D meshes. some issues encountered in digital video watermarking based on MPEG-4 are presented and discussed in this paper─Motion vector watermarking calculation.. In the research lf video watermarking, many technological problems haven't been solved properly yet. For example, because of the large amounts of video data, in the video watermarking processing, if operating simply, we can't make full use of space and time's hiding effects of mankind's visual system and obtain a robust watermarking. Whereas, if operating complicatedly. We can't meet the requests of instant processing. Meanwhile, video is a sequence of static images. So not only many watermarking attacks against images have an effect on it, but there appear some additional attacks, such as frame's average, reduction, exchange and etc. These geometric attacks make watermark detection lose synchronization. And all kinds of objects can be attacked by geometric transformation. Therefore, the issue must also be considered in watermarking calculation. This is also a hot research now. On the one hand, watermarking must resist the attacks. On the other hand, watermarking should be linked with the so-called re-synchronizing mechanism, which means watermarking can be restored from the right place.Today, most of the video watermarking technique develops on a basis of static images.
