Internet electronic map has been become a new way to display geographic information,it is visual, real-time,and dynamic.In comprehensive contrast with some electronic map websites, this paper was ready to improve the E-Map in two areas: One is the map buffer, the other is bus interchange inquiry and the results displayed dynamically.This paper introduces the importance and necessity of the electronic map on the life of urban residents,and the current situation and development trends of the domestic electronic map and abroad, after this, this paper present the purpose and practical significance of the design and implementation of the Web-based electronic map of Dalian city.After introducing the basic concepts ,the application,and the basic principles of design and mapping, This paper begin the design, and gives a detailed differences between Flash and WebGIS to produce digital maps.They are different in the development platform, dependence on the network, and client browser.Based on the actual situation, this paper given the choice of design technique:flash+asp+access.After selecting the technologies,this paper begun preliminary data collection, information collection such as photos, text, transit line, Bus station.This paper finished the basic functions of E-Map such as zoom out,zoom in,drawing frame to zoom out, drawing frame to zoom in, pan, Hawkeye, marking, Inquiries and information management functions.This paper program to realize the operation of buffer map shows,nearly objects mouse suggested,and use comment techniques to achieve the results of the inquiry dynamic display.This paper describes detaily how to achieve the names of fuzzy searching, searching buses over transit stations. Finally,this paper gives the expansion algorithm and optimal path algorithm,After the comparison, and based on the actual situation,This paper given the dots fuzzy matching algorithm to solve the shortest path problem in static bus interchange. Dots fuzzy matching algorithm is extended from expansion algorithm.This paper provides an easy development of low-cost and viable network of electronic maps produced in an effective manner. In this application, inquiry is accurate and fast to meet the demands of customers.
