Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) is nowadays a focus of research in the remote sensing area and has attracted many researchers' interests. This is due to the fact that it has many advantages over other imaging methods, such as large coverage, high spatial resolution, high elevation accuracy, and the capability of working at all time and under all-weather conditions. It is the most effective method to acquire the 3D Digital Elevation Models (DEMs).Precise Orbit has an important role in enhancing elevation accuracy in INSAR technology; it provides the important originate of baseline estimation for the elevation production, it takes an important part in images matching, unwrapping and elevation production process and so on. And it also puts forward very important reference proposal to the design of satellite orbit. The parameter baseline in Precise Orbit is the base of Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar, it decides the characteristic of the interferometry system, has the vital role in the design and performance analysis of Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar system. This paper mainly studies the influence of the Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite Precise Orbit to the interferometry, including the basic principle of InSAR, the principle of precise orbit and the error analysis, the data form of satellite radar(ERS and ENVISAT ASAR) which relates about precise orbit and the data form of precise orbit which is provided by DEOS, the superior baseline model, Doppler parameter estimation, the introduction of baseline method, basic algorithm research and realization, the experiment result analysis.Baseline is an important parameter of radar interferometry. Generally, it can be estimated by satellite orbital data(original or precise) or ground control points. In this paper, we mainly use the optimal baseline method in conjunction with satellite orbital data to estimate the baseline. With this method, the precision of baseline estimation can be improved without ground control points, and the actual data of ERS and ENVISAT ASAR...
