With the rapid development of computer science and standardization of international medical information, it is the development trend that Patient Record to be managed modernly by computer. The CPR records the electronic information about health and illness status of patients.The paper patient record can't compare with computer - based patient record. The CPR combines the advantages of integrality and quickness. It not only includes the whole information which recorded by paper patient record but also stores images and sound for example ultra-sonogram etc. Utilized the CPR, you can retrieve the information bout patients online. It is convenient for the critical patients to be diagnosed by long-distance medical consultation. Hospital staffs can discuss the difficult cases of disease and share medical resources take advantage of CPR, dispense with spatial difference. Simultaneity, the extensive application of CPR can greatly promote the inter-hospital cooperation and communication.
