| The theories and technologies about transaction management in Web Grid Service are new research focuses in the computer realm. The Web Grid Service are named as the 3rd Internet,and are drawing more and more attentions.Given the prospect of wide application of the Grid Computing and the Grid Service, researches on Transaction in Web Grid Service environment have profound practical significance.The transaction in Web Grid Service environment has special characteristics compared with that in conventionally distioueed environment transactions. For example, the Web Grid Service transaction never belongs to a single company and the coordination inside becomes more complex due to the great varieties of distributed environment and applications; and that Grid Service serves corporations, organizations, and maybe all of the people, so the transaction management system can never deal with transaction by simply locking involved resources. In short, the conventional transaction models can no longer suit the Grid Service environment.All of the specialities stress the necessity of proposing a new transaction model. Researches on such model not only have profound practical value, but also promote the developments of transaction theories. Therefore, many famous companies and research institutions are drafting specifications about the model.The followings are the focuses of the paper:1. the author summarized the Web Service and Grid Computing,and introduced the present situation of the developments in Web Grid Service.2.
