Blower performance testing is the course of changing working states, measuring testing dates, calculating performance parameters and plotting performance curves which processed under the certain rotate speed. It is important to inspecting finished production and designing new production. At present, most blower testing work is man-work in our country, which has some problem, such as obsolete testing means, large labor and imprecise result. In the base of original test bed, the original apply the advanced observe and controlling technique, which combining the sense technology, testing technology and calculating machine technology to research and develop air-blower performance automatic monitor and control system. The system achieved parameter automatic detection, test dates automatic detection and performance curve automatic drawing.The article conducts hardware and software design of air-blower automatic testing system by using one board computer technique and Visual C++ language. The automatic collection of test data is achieved by hardware which using pressure difference, pressure, torque and temperature sensor; the automatic regulation of rotation speed is achieved by converter technique controlling the frequency of frequency speed regulator; the automatic control of air-blower run phase is achieved by stepper motor controlling the rotating angle of blind mesh accommodated unit. The author designed the data acquisition board according to the system's demand which can finish data acquisition, rotation speed and flow rate. Using the strong programmed ability of Visual C++6.0 and interface design function, the author designed the man-machine interface, input parameters, making the calculation more prompt. Many parameters in the calculation of air-blower test is iterated, so the manual work is tremendous, algorithm function of MATLAB designed the programs which can handle the test data. The adopting of the modularization design can achieve the real-time display of collecting signal; automated drawing of air-blower performance curve is achieved by using least square fits performance parameter.The whole supervising system can finish parameter automatic monitoring, test dates automatic handle and performance curves automatic drawing. It has friendly interface, convenient operation and comprehensive functions, which can be used widely in scientific research institutes and educations. The system of blower performance auto-testing improves the stability of testing process, avoids the reading error, the calculation error and the error of result caused by relative dates can not be recorded at the same time, the precision and efficiency of testing is largely improved.
