Research On Subscriber Management System Of Digital Television

In China, CATV(Cable Television) is not an industry has been marked out. Presently it still cannot take its huge effect into use as it should have done. Now according to the technology now applied in network,physical situation,government policy,market requirement ,it's a hard task to take all these into considered so as to explode increment operation. One of the critical technologies to realize this target is to develop a set of SMS (Subscriber Management System) which is adjusted to our real situation and new mode of management.In this paper,with the fact that Digital TV(DTV) is transmitted on current CATV,SMS and relational contents are studied with DTV technology. The following are included:CA principle of operation,SMS compositions,system design principle,database design reposed on DTV businesses and so on. current situation is also incorporated, design and realize scheme of interface,which is used between third party and SMS, are examined in depth. Joint design among SMS,CA and banking system are emphasized in research.According to an all-ground requirement analysis, a three-tier client/server system model is designed, which fits the facts at the moments. SQL Server 2000 is chosen, which provides the data management function. The system also communicates with CAS and bank system on TCP/IP.At CA interface protocol frame, respecting the fact that DTV is transmissted as CATV net act as bearer, a sort of new data link layer agreement SDL is introduced. SDL can not only meet the requirement in digital television business transfer speed, but also be compatible with main transmission technique currently such as IP over WDM,IP over ATM,IP over SDH. It also has advantage in security aspect of data transfer to the parties referred in the front.At banking interface design chapter, detailed design scheme made, database managing optimize proposal referred is also discussed.
